Instructions *** 6-15-2011 excellent *** very good, kate served this at avery's christening *** 1 lg head lettuce, sliced ( I used iceberg) 1 green pepper, chopped 1 med onion, chopped 1 pckg (10 oz) peas, defrosted, drained 1 pt mayo (I used light) 3 tbsp sugar 1 pckg shredded cheddar cheese 3 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled Line bottom of dish with lettuce, top with onion layer, then peppers and peas. Top w/mayo and sprinkle with sugar. Refrigerate overnight or 8 hours. Top with cheddar cheese and bacon. A wider/longer dish is probably better than the one I used, though not as pretty.
