Instructions Instructions: ********* 6-05 very good ************ 6 slices bacon 1/4 loaf italian bread 1/4 t minced garlic 1 tb fresh lemon juice 1/4 c mayo 1 tb water 1 small red onion 1/2 lb cherry tomatos 1 head boston lettuce in skillet cook bacon till crisp remove and drain and crumble bacon reserve 1 tb bacon fat in skillet cut bread in to 3/4 inch cubes to measure 1 cup heat fat saute bread cubes with salt to taste until golden brown transfer croutons to paper towels to drain and cool in small bowlwhisk together garlic, lemon juice, mayo, water, and salt and pepper to taste slice onion and halve tomatoes tear lettuce in to bite size pieces in large bowl toss onion, tomatoes, lettuce, and half of bacon and half of croutons, salt and pepper to taste and enough dressing to coat divide between plates and top with remaining croutons and bacon serves 2 as main course Notes: ********** RECIPE ENDS ******** This recipe published with BigOven, and can be imported instantly by BigOven users.
